Assalam O Alaikum
Alhamdullah
Alhamdullah
(Start With The Name Of Allah The Most Beneficial And Most Merciful)
(May Allah Help Me To Explain The Topic In Light Of Quran And Hadiths)
Hadiths
1)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 1223
Translation :
"Prophet Of Allah Muhammad(SAW) Said Every Night When One Third Night Is Remaining (Means The 1/3 Time Of Night Start From Sun Set To Sun Rise) Your God(Allah) Come Near To This World(Like He Want) And Ask Is Any One There Who Do Dua(pray) To Me? And I Accept His Dua(Pray) Is Any One There Who Ask Some Thing From Me? And I Give It To Him Is Any One There Who Ask For Forgiveness? And I Forgive Him And Allah Continuously Ask This Questions Till Sun Rises"
From This Hadith We Can Easily Understand That It Is Laila -Tul- Qadar or Any Other Night That 1/3 Time Of Night Have The Same Importance Every Night.
2)
Reference : Sunan Nisaii Hadith No 2359
Classification: Sheikh Zubair Ali Zai And Sheikh Albani Say It Is Sahih Hadith
Translation :
Narrated By Usama Ibn Zaid
"Usama Said That I Asked To Prophet Muhammad(SAW) That Oh! Prophet Of Allah What Is The Reason I Never Saw You Fasting Too Much In Any Other Month Other Then Ramadan And Shaban So Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Said That The Month Of Shaban Is The Month Which is Between Rajab And Ramadan This Month Is The Month That Have Much Gift For Peoples But Most Of The Peoples Don't Know About Those Gifts And This Is The Month In Which Angles Present Our Deeds In Front Of Allah And I Fast In This Month Because I Have A Wish That When Angles Present My Deeds In Front Of Allah So I Will Be Fasting On That Time"
3)
Reference : Sahih Muslim And Jamia E Tirmazi ,Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2056
Translation :
"Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Fast Every Monday And Thursday Some One Asked Oh! Prophet Of Allah Why Do You Fast These Days So Prophet(SAW) Replied On Every Monday And Thursday Angles Present Our Deeds In Front Of Allah And I Have A Wish That When Angles Present My Deeds In Front Of Allah On That Time I Will Be Fasting"
Shaban Is The Month Which Is Fixed In Which Angles Present Our Deeds In Front Of Allah And Prophet Also Said That Our Weekly Deeds Are Presented On Monday And Thursday And Our Yearly Deeds Are Present On The Night Of Qadar(Laila Tul Qadar) But Our Daily Deeds Are Presented To Allah On The Time Of Fajar And Asar Every Day But Shaban Was The Month In Which Prophet(SAW) Fast For Whole Month Like Ramadan. So Shaban Have More Importance Then Other Months Weeks And Days.
4)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2045
Translation :
"When Peoples Asked Prophet Muhammad(SAW) About Fasting On Monday So Prophet Said I Fast On Monday Because I Was Born On Monday And On Monday For The First Allah Sent Jibraeel To Me With Verses Of Quran"
Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Fast On Monday Because Our Deeds Are Presented In Front Of Allah And He Also Have 2 More Reasons He Fast Because He Was Born On Monday And Allah Sent Jibraeel For The 1st Time With Quran Verses.
5)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2036
Translation :
Narrated By Amma Ayesha RA (The Mother Of Believers)
"Hazrat Ayesha Said I Never Saw Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Fasting Every Day In Any Month Except The Month Of Shaban And Ramadan"
6)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2036
Translation :
Narrated By Amma Ayesha RA (The Mother Of Believers)
"She Said The Prophet(SAW) Fast Every Day In The Month Of Shaban"
These Hadiths Says That Prophet Fast Every Day In The Month Of Shaban But If Any One Fast For 10 Days 15 Days Or More And Leave Some Days So That Is Not A Sin As Allah Said We Have To Fast In Ramadan But If We Fast Other Then Ramadan So We Will Get Gifts From Allah And If We Don't Fast In Other Months So That Is Not A Sin
7)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2046
Translation :
Narrated By Amma Ayesha RA(The Mother Of Believers)
"She Said The Prophet(SAW) Fast For 3 Days Every Month He Didn't Even Care About His Health Or Any Thing"
This Hadith Clarify That Prophet Fast For At-least 3 Days Per Month And He Don't Care About Any Thing And He Also Fast Every Week For 2 Days Monday And Thursday. Means Every Month Have 4 Weeks And 2 Days Per Week Means 8 Days And 8 plus 3 Means 11 So He Fast At least 11 Days Per Month And Those 3 Days In Which He Fast Were Mostly The Days In Which The Moon Is Full At Night.
8)
Reference : Sahih Bukhari And Muslim , Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2054
Translation :
"Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Said That The Person Who Fast For 3 Days Every Month Is Like The Person Who Fast For The Whole Year""Prophet Of Allah Also Said That Don't Fast Every Day And If Any Person Want To Fast More Then He Should Fast Like Dawood(AS) Means Fast For One Day And Rest For One Day Then Fast Again On 3rd Day"
Means If Any Person Fast For Every Day Of The Years 365 Days And A Person Who Fast For Just 3 Days Per Month Are Equal And He Also Said Dont Fast For Whole Year Except Ramadan If You Are Fasting In Any Month So It Is Good For You To Fast One Day And Take Rest And Then Fast On 3rd Day Means Fast On Odd Days Or Even Days
9)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2047
Translation :
"Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Said That The Person Who Fast For Whole Month Of Ramadan And Then He Fast For 6 Days Of Shawal So He Will Be Equal To The Person Who Fast For Whole Year"
So After This Hadith We Can Say That If Any Person Fast For 3 Days Every Month Or He Fast For 6 Days Of Shawal He Is Equal To The Person Who Fast For Whole Of The Year
10)
Reference : Sahih Bukhari And Muslim , Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 1262
Translation :
Narrated By Abu Hurera RA
"He Said That Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Advised Me 3 Thing And That Are No:1 Fast For 3 Days Every Month No:2 Offer 2 Rakat Of Asrak Every Day And No:3 Offer Namaz E Witaar Before You Sleep"
11)
Reference : Sunan Nisaii , Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2071
Translation :
Narrated By Ibn Abbas RA
"He Said That Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Never Left 3 Days Of Full Moon And He Always Fast In Those 3 Days Means 13th 14th and 15th Of Every Islamic Month"
12)
Reference : Jamia E Tirmazi ,Sunan Nisaii And Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2057
Translation :
Narrated By Abu Dar Gaffari RA
"Abu Dar RA Said Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Said That Oh! Abu Dar When Ever You Want To Fast For 3 Days In Month So Fast On 13th 14th and 15th Of Islamic Months In Which The Moon Is Full"
In This Hadith Prophet Said To Fast On 13th 14th and 15th But This Is Not Necessary As Prophet Said In Other Hadiths That Fast For 3 Days In A Month And It Is Good To Fast on 13th 14th And 15th But If You Cant Fast On These Days So Fast When Ever You Want.
13)
Reference : Miskat ul Musahabi Hadith No 2038 , Sahih Bukhari Hadith No 1983 And Muslim Hadith No 2751
Translation :
Narrated By Imran Bin Hussain RA
"He Said That Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Asked Me Or Any Other Person That Do You Ever Fast In Middle Of Shaban So He Said No Oh! Prophet Of Allah So Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Said Okay So Fast In Shawal For 2 Days"
Note:(Imran Bin Hussain Is Tabi And He Narrated This Hadith But He Is Confused That Prophet Asked Him Or Any Other Person)(But This Hadith Is Sahih Because All Hadiths From Sahih Bukhari And Muslim Are Sahih)
This Hadith Show Us The Importance Of Fasting In Middle Of Shaban Means on 15th And Said If You Didn't Fast So Just Fast For 2 Days Of Shawal They Will Be Equal To One Day Of Shaban Means 15th Of Shaban But This Fasting Is Not Necessary He(SAW) Just Said If He Want To Get Back 15th Of Shaban So He Can Just Fast For 2 Days Of Shawal Which Will Be Equal To 15th Of Shaban
Reason Of Writing On This Topic Was Just To Inform The People That Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Have Said The Fasting In Ramadan Is Necessary We Like It Of Not We Have To Fast In Ramadan But Allah Also Gifted You Some Months And Days If You Fast In Those Days So It Will Be Equal To You Fast For Whole Year
