Is Tasbi (Misbha) Is Sunnah Or Bidah ?

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Alhamduillah

Hadith No 1 :
"Finger Will Testify Our Good Deeds Done By Them(Fingers) On Day Of Judgement"

Reference : Sunan Abi Dawood Hadith no 1501

In This Hadith We Can Understand That We Should Do Zikar(Glorify Allah) On Our Finger It Is Better And We Can Use Our Both Hands And The Hadith Which Says Prophet (SAW) Use His Right Hand For All Good Deeds And Stop People Who Use Left Hand That Hadith Is Daeef Because In That Hadith The People Who Narrate That Is (Aamash) And He Is Mudalis And It Is Rule That If Mudalis Say Anything On Its Own Without Telling From Where He Listened It Then That Hadith Or Narration Will Be Daeef.

But If Some One Use Misbha (Tasbi) That Is Not Bidah..

Hadith No 2 :
"One Women Was Reciting Some Thing And Used Misbha (Rocks To Count) And Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Came To Her And Said What Are You Doing So She Said I Am Doing Zikar (Glorifying Allah) So Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said I Will Tell You Some Thing Easier Then This And Then Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Told Her Another Zikar"

Reference : Sunan Abi Dawood Hadith No 1500, Fatawa E Ilmiya Vol 1 Page No 474

In This Hadith Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Saw That Women Using Misbha But He Didn't Stopped Her But Said I Can Tell You Something Much Easier But Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Didn't Said Her That Misbha Is Bidah And It Is Compulsory For Prophet To Stop Bad Works Eg Misbha But Prophet (SAW) Didn't So Its Mean That It Is Not Bidah. If We Do Zikar And Invite People To Do Zikar With You As (ijtama) Then It Is Bidah It Is Just Like You Offer Salat Ul Israq With Jammah And That Is Bidah..

Conclusion :

Using Misbha (Tasbi) For Zikar Is Not Bidah But Until We Don't Do It In Ijtama Like Jammah In Salah . And We Can Do Zikar On Both Hands

And Allah Knows The Best
