5 Ways Of SAJDAH-E-SAHAW

Answer :

In Arabic Sahaw Means "To Forget" And In Shariyah Sajdah-e-Sahaw Means Those 2 Prostration to God Which We Do In Salah When We Offer Salah Wrong Or We Forget Any Necessary Thing In Salah Like (Ruku, Or The Quantity Of Rakahs ETC) Or We Do Any Mistake In Salah On These Occasion We Do Sajdah E Sahaw. We Do Sajdah E Sahaw For The Compensation Of The Mistakes We Done In Salah. And In This Contexts Hadiths Are

Hadiths :

Hadith No 1 :

Translation :

"Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, When anyone of you stands for the prayers, Satan comes and puts him in doubts till he forgets how many rak`at he has prayed. So if this happens to anyone of you, he should perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting."

Reference : Sahih Bukhari Hadith No 1232 ,Sahih Muslim Hadith No 1265

Hadith No 2 :

Translation :

"Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina: (he was from the tribe of Uzd Shanu'a [??] and was the ally of the tribe of `Abdul-Manaf and was one of the companions of the Prophet): Once the Prophet led us in the Zuhr prayer and stood up after the second rak`a and did not sit down. The people stood up with him. When the prayer was about to end and the people were waiting for him to say the Taslim, he said Takbir while sitting and prostrated twice before saying the Taslim and then he said the Taslim."

Hadith No 3 :

Translation :
"Narrated Al-Mughirah ibn Shubah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When an imam stands up at the end of two rak'ahs, if he remembers before standing straight up, he should sit down, but if he stands straight up, he must not sit down, but perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness. Abu Dawud said: I have not narrated in this book of mine any hadith from Jabir Al-Ju'fi (one of the narrators) except this one."

Reference : Sunan Abi Dawood Hadith No 1036, Mani Ul Aasaar Imam Tahavi Vol No 1 Page No 440, Miskat Un Musahabi Hadith No 1020

Note : The Hadith In Sunan Abi Dawood Is Daeef But The Same Hadith In Mani Un Aasaar Imam Tahavi Is Sahih And Authentic

Hadith No 4:

Translation :
"Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: When any one of you is in doubt about his prayer and he does Dot know how much he has prayed, three or four (rak'ahs). he should cast aside his doubt and base his prayer on what he is sure of. then perform two prostrations before giving salutations. If he has prayed five rak'ahs, they will make his prayer an even number for him, and if he has prayed exactly four, they will be humiliation for the devil."

Reference : Sahih Muslim Hadith No 1272

Note : This Is An Issue When Offering Salah If We Have A Doubt That We Offered 3 Rakahs Or 4 Rakahs Then What Should We Do So From This Hadith We Have A Clear Solution That We Should Offer One More Rakahs If We Have Doubt Between 3 And 4 Rakahs And We Should Offer 2 Rakahs If We Have Doubt Between 2 And 3 Rakahs Because When We Have Doubt Between 3 Or 4 Then We Are Sure That We Have Offered 3 Rakahs That Is Why We Have Doubt Between 3 And 4 Rakahs.

Hadith No 5 :

Translation :
"Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet prayed (and the sub-narrator Ibrahim said, I do not know whether he prayed more or less than usual ), and when he had finished the prayers he was asked, O Allah's Apostle! Has there been any change in the prayers? He said, What is it?' The people said, You have prayed so much and so much. So the Prophet bent his legs, faced the Qibla and performed two prostration's (of Sahu) and finished his prayers with Taslim (by turning his face to right and left saying: 'As-Salamu `Alaikum- Warahmat-ullah'). When he turned his face to us he said, If there had been anything changed in the prayer, surely I would have informed you but I am a human being like you and liable to forget like you. So if I forget remind me and if anyone of you is doubtful about his prayer, he should follow what he thinks to be correct and complete his prayer accordingly and finish it and do two prostrations (of Sahu)."

Hadith No 6:

Translation :
"Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d As-Sa`idi: The news about the differences amongst the people of Bani `Amr bin `Auf reached Allah's Apostle and so he went to them along with some of his companions to effect a reconciliation between them. Allah's Apostle was delayed there, and the time of the prayer was due. Bilal went to Abu Bakr and said to him, Allah's Apostle has been delayed (there) and the time of prayer is due. So will you lead the people in prayer? Abu Bakr said, Yes, if you wish. Bilal pronounced the Iqama and Abu Bakr, went forward and said Takbir for the people. In the meantime Allah's Apostle came crossing the rows (of the praying people) and stood in the (first) row and the people started clapping. Abu Bakr, would never glance sideways in his prayer but when the people clapped much he looked back and (saw) Allah's Apostle . Allah's Apostle beckoned him to carry on the prayer. Abu Bakr raised his hands and thanked Allah, and retreated till he reached the (first) row. Allah's Apostle went forward and led the people in the prayer. When he completed the prayer he faced the people and said, O people! Why did you start clapping when something unusual happened to you in the prayer? Clapping is only for women. So whoever amongst you comes across something in the prayer should say, 'Subhan-Allah' for there is none who will not turn round on hearing him saying Subhan-Allah. O Abu Bakr! What prevented you from leading the people in the prayer when I beckoned you to do so? Abu Bakr replied, How dare the son of Abu Quhafa lead the prayer in the presence of Allah's Apostle ?"

Note : In This Hadith Prophet Taught How To Correct Imam If You Are Man Say SubhanAllah And If You Are Women Just Slap Your Left Hand With Right. In Subcontinent Many People Says AllahuAkbar To Correct The Imam It Is Not Right Because Imam Can Be Confused That They Are Correcting Me Or Some One Started Prayer Behind Me By Allah Hu Akbar

Hadith No 7 :

Translation :

"Narrates Ibn Seereen: Abu Huraira said, Allah's Apostle led us in one of the two `Isha' prayers (Abu Huraira named that prayer but I forgot it). Abu Huraira added, He prayed two rak`at and then finished the prayer with Taslim. He stood up near a piece of wood Lying across the mosque and leaned on it in such a way as if he was angry. Then he put his right hand over the left and clasped his hands by interlacing his fingers and then put his J right cheek on the back of his left hand. The people who were in haste left the mosque through its gates. They wondered whether the prayer was reduced. And amongst them were Abu Bakr and `Umar but they hesitated to ask the Prophet. A long-handed man called Dhul- Yadain asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Apostle! Have you forgotten or has the prayer been reduced?' The Prophet replied, 'I have neither forgotten nor has the prayer been reduced' The Prophet added, 'Is what Dhul Yadain has said true?' They (the people) said, 'Yes, it is true.' The Prophet stood up again and led the prayer, completing the remaining prayer, forgotten by him, and performed Taslim, and then said, 'Allahu Akbar.' And then he did a prostration as he used to prostrate or longer than that. He then raised his head saying, 'Allahu Akbar; he then again said, 'Allahu Akbar', and prostrated as he used to prostrate or longer than that. Then he raised his head and said, 'Allahu Akbar.' (The subnarrator added, I think that they asked (Ibn Seereen) whether the Prophet completed the prayer with Taslim. He replied, I heard that `Imran bin Husain had said, 'Then he (the Prophet) did Taslim. )"

Hadith No 8 :

Translation :
